Adapting to Changing Consumer Needs

In the sales and service industry, we’ve always been called to be quick to adapt as new technology and ways of living develop and consumers change how they shop, eat and access services.

Since we launched as a small, family-run butcher shop in Paddington in 1985, we’ve continued to grow and develop into the innovative meat supplier we are today. However, for some time, we’ve wanted to bring back an element of our roots, operating an everyday service for our local community.

Extending Our Retail Store Offering

For years, we’ve been providing Sydneysiders with the same premium meats we supply to some of NSW’s most highly acclaimed venues, through our retail shop held each Saturday. As things have continued to change and adapt, so have we, recently opening the doors of our retail store to the public six days per week.

Now, our loyal Saturday customers have the opportunity to visit us through the week (or stick to Saturday, if they prefer) and browse our full selection of products. There’s more time to visit, chat with our friendly team and in-house butchers, and explore the range of delicious cuts available for them to take home and cook in the comfort of their own kitchens.

Our Delivery Service

After extending our retail store hours, we felt there was still more to be improved. Particularly with the way consumers are now shopping, we finally implemented a long-time dream to offer our own delivery service, Haverick Meats to You.

With the additional option to browse our selection and order online, we’re offering even more versatility to our customers. This service, along with our extended retail store hours, provides the chance to access the same quality produce and cuts of meat on offer at their favourite restaurants, at the same great wholesale prices.

We hope by expanding our service we can inspire more at-home chefs to get creative in the kitchen by taking pride in the produce they purchase, as well as offering more convenient access through our delivery service.

At the moment we’re offering our delivery service to select suburbs in the Sydney Metro area to ensure we can launch our operations smoothly and efficiently, but our goal is to continue to expand our network to serve a wider area of our community.
